This is a four-story apartment renovation project located in Bangkok, Thailand. It is just over 100 meters away from ICONSIAM, the second largest shopping mall in the country.

Since the local houses were built one connected to other, the original wall structure had poor sound insulation performance. To improve the sound insulation effect, all the walls and ceilings were treated for sound insulation: 15mm SOUNDWIN high-quality sound insulation board was used, and 50mm environmental friendly sound insulation foam was filled inside to add an additional layer of sound insulation wall and ceiling to the original walls and ceilings, in order to achieve the effect of isolating external noise. Due to the relatively small area of each floor of the house, the walls did not take further sound absorption treatment but were decorated with waterproof PVC wall fabric instead. Our company dispatched several masters with over 20 years of experience in applying wall fabric to the site for construction.

In terms of sound absorption treatment, the ceiling adopts a white dynamic optical fiber starry sky sound-absorbing ceiling. This ceiling uses environmental friendly polyester fiber panel as the base material and is embedded with optical fiber lights. It not only has a good sound absorption and noise reduction effect, but also the twinkling stars create a very good atmosphere. Our company's engineer Leon, who has over 25 years of experience in engineering project construction, came to the site to guide local workers in installing optical fiber starry sky sound-absorbing ceilings.
