Apartment buildings, hotels, home theaters, multi-functional halls, bars, recording studios, and factories all require sound insulation to block airborne noise from adjacent spaces. Sound transmission through solids in buildings occurs when vibrating objects directly strike structural elements such as floors, walls, etc., causing them to vibrate and propagate the noise along the structure. This includes noise generated by impacts, such as objects falling, knocking, dragging chairs and tables, hitting doors and windows, as well as walking, running, and jumping; noise from vibrating mechanical equipment; and noise from the use of sanitary equipment and pipes, etc.
Soundproof panels, soundproof felts, vibration damping bricks, soundproof doors, sound-absorbing panels, and other sound insulation products are of great importance.
Base on the requirements of different places, we combine different soundproof materials and design different thicknesses of structure to achieve the desired soundproof effect.
In auditoriums, multi-function halls, theaters, broadcasting studios, meeting rooms, recording studios, concert halls, etc., sound quality and reverberation time are of great importance. To meet the usage requirements of these venues, acoustic simulation and acoustic physical index calculation are carried out. Soundproof panels, soundproof doors, sound-absorbing panels and diffusers are used for acoustic treatment to eliminate acoustic defects such as echoes, multiple echoes, sound focusing, standing waves, and muddled sound perception, thereby achieving the effect of noise reduction and clear sound perception.
In recent years, the industry has recognized that the delay time, arrival direction, and sound intensity of "reflected sound" are important factors in determining the sound quality of a room. As a method to understand the arrival time and direction of this reflected sound, we have conducted simulations using a "geometrical acoustics" based backtracking method. This method geometrically captures the propagation and diffusion of sound energy and can calculate reverberation time, echo time patterns, sound maps, and directionality diffusion, providing technical basis for acoustic design.
